Well I have done something in the last 3 days that I never thought I would do...

A 3 Day Fasting Detox!

Wow was it an experience :)

Started on Monday @ 8pm and Ending tonight @ 8pm will be 72 Hours of ????

On Monday I was ready to Go and up for the challenge...Made it through Tuesday w/ only Water/Tea and and then @ 7pm I needed a little something because I was very weak and tired so I made a Smoothie(Spinach/carrots/Strawberries/Blueberries/Walnuts and had a cup of that. Wednesday was great - did abs @ the gym along w/ calves and a little cardio - was getting ready for bed and had to have 2 strawberries & 2 hand fulls of blueberries...Now it is Thursday and it also is going GREAT! I feel Better within just knowing that FOOD doesn't control me - I CONTROL the FOOD! And Also I am not bloated or have a sick feeling in my body!

I am ready to start fresh and this was just the way to setup for the change!!

My Life is cRaZy and I'm happy w/ that!

O Yes I am...I have been Working-out for around 4 months now and I thought I was busy before (whatever) I had it made...I work Monday thru Friday at an awesome job! and then I get to spend quality time w/ my husband who has worked out for over 10 years (very disciplined)on Mon, Wed, Fri, & Sun @ the gym. We have planned it so we can go together (love that, keeps me on track :))

I was never athletic and hated to run (seriously HATED to run) but now I have ran a mile loved it!! (started w/ just a minute of running and built up) I am getting addicted to it now. We are trying to eat better and work on healthy habits...

I feel so much better!! I have more energy then I have ever had and I just feel better about myself...I have only lost about 7-8 lbs but I have toned up muscle where I didn't even know there was muscle!!
I also have started eating Oatmeal and Blueberries for breakfast...that is a GREAT start to changing habits if you are interested.

I have had a great experience these last 4 months and I am motivated to stay in the game! I Love my crazy life!!

Well here we are in 2010 and I am so ready to get it started! I ate my Black Eyed Peas, Cornbread and Hog Jowls so I am all set!! Last year was a wonderful year and there are few things that would make it better. Some things that weren't so good either, but why dwell on those - Time for me to move on and take those memories but not carry the burdens with them!

Christmas was great! Had way to much yummy food :) I'm not complaining about that just what it does to my waist line - lol. We spent time with Family which is always wonderful! So I guess the year 2009 Ended well and onto 2010!!

It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the big 2000 - wow how time flies!!!

Well let's see 10 months later I post one of my Christmas Present :) I guess better late than never, but goodness I can't believe that it is only two more months til Christmas this year!

Anyway the Present I want to post is really neat! I'll post a picture Later (haha) maybe before this Christmas is over...

This Present was from my mom...BACKGROUND: I had saved all the overalls I could get from my Papaw - anytime I would see them I wanted them :) I wore some of them too! But when I moved out and got married I left the box there in my bedroom...well my mom got them out and cut squares and put them all together for a awesome quilt made by hand by her only out of the overalls! It is so great and now I can actully use it rather than just look through a box...

It stays in my livingroom and I use it all the time...Just a Great Present!

Well it has been so long since I have actually took the time a wrote in my BLOG!! Rod and I have been to Alaska as you can see in the last couple of pictures I have thrown on here ;) But I never got to talk about the trip!!

We left on the plane and I started praying that we would be safe ;) I trying to act like I have no worries but the whole time I worry that everything back home it okay...and I'm sure it was and it had to be it wasn't like I could just fly right back :) anyway we get on the plane and we are off...we get to Seattle and it is Sunny and warm! We get on the Ship and people are out at the pool sunny!! Yes are going to Alaska and all these people are out in their bathing suits!!!

I was so worried that Alaska was going to be freezin' but I was perfect!!! I only wore a jacket one day and it was great weather!! Only rained one day!!!

We were able to relax while we were cruising the ocean and we watch some movies, Mall Cop, Marley & Me, and other one that was really goog but I never caught the name...Also we ate good every day all 3 meals - there was so much food!!!

And we saw a huge gray WHALE it was out in the water just waving at us it was something I will NEVER forget!!!! IT WAS HUGE...we also say the orca whales, 2 Bears while riding the train in Skagway, and a bunch of eagles.

We didn't not want to leave and I already know what I want to do when I go back!!! We are so Thankful that God made it possible for us to enjoy this great trip...I will save for another 6 years for something as awesome as this ;) Alaska(which I thought was going to be just an old cold place) will be very hard to beat on our next vacation! Needless to say - I LOVED IT!!!!

Well Halloween 2008 has came and gone! It was great I got all dressed up and Rodney did to...here is the HALLOWEEN 2008 STORY...

It all started on beautiful autumn day I was getting ready for my wedding and thought it was going to be a wonderful start to the rest of my life with Rodney...if I had only knew...I slipped it to my wedding gown and walked out onto the front porch, just for some fresh air, before I was to be picked up to be taken to the ceremony...then it happen...I had heard on the evening news that Micheal Myers was back in town, but I didn't think about him being right here. It was such a beautiful night I was taking it all in and trying to relax then out of nowhere he had me! He beat me pretty bad I couldn't get away...he slit my throat and left me for dead...I am here now to forever haunt the house on cherokee lane...

WASHINGTON -- Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was less than upfront in his half-hour commercial Wednesday night about the costs of his programs and the crushing budget pressures he would face in office.

Obama's assertion that "I've offered spending cuts above and beyond" the expense of his promises is accepted only by his partisans. His vow to save money by "eliminating programs that don't work" masks his failure throughout the campaign to specify what those programs are -- beyond the withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

A sampling of what voters heard in the ad, and what he didn't tell them:

THE SPIN: "That's why my health care plan includes improving information technology, requires coverage for preventive care and pre-existing conditions and lowers health care costs for the typical family by $2,500 a year."

THE FACTS: His plan does not lower premiums by $2,500, or any set amount. Obama hopes that by spending $50 billion over five years on electronic medical records and by improving access to proven disease management programs, among other steps, consumers will end up saving money. He uses an optimistic analysis to suggest cost reductions in national health care spending could amount to the equivalent of $2,500 for a family of four. Many economists are skeptical those savings can be achieved, but even if they are, it's not a certainty that every dollar would be passed on to consumers in the form of lower premiums.

THE SPIN: "I also believe every American has a right to affordable health care."

THE FACTS: That belief should not be confused with a guarantee of health coverage for all. He makes no such promise. Obama hinted as much in the ad when he said about the problem of the uninsured: "I want to start doing something about it." He would mandate coverage for children but not adults. His program is aimed at making insurance more affordable by offering the choice of government-subsidized coverage similar to that in a plan for federal employees and other steps, including requiring larger employers to share costs of insuring workers.

THE SPIN: "I've offered spending cuts above and beyond their cost."

THE FACTS: Independent analysts say both Obama and Republican John McCain would deepen the deficit. The nonpartisan Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget estimates Obama's policy proposals would add a net $428 billion to the deficit over four years -- and that analysis accepts the savings he claims from spending cuts. The nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, whose other findings have been quoted approvingly by the Obama campaign, says: "Both John McCain and Barack Obama have proposed tax plans that would substantially increase the national debt over the next 10 years." The analysis goes on to say: "Neither candidate's plan would significantly increase economic growth unless offset by spending cuts or tax increases that the campaigns have not specified."

THE SPIN: "Here's what I'll do. Cut taxes for every working family making less than $200,000 a year. Give businesses a tax credit for every new employee that they hire right here in the U.S. over the next two years and eliminate tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. Help homeowners who are making a good faith effort to pay their mortgages, by freezing foreclosures for 90 days. And just like after 9-11, we'll provide low-cost loans to help small businesses pay their workers and keep their doors open. "

THE FACTS: His proposals -- the tax cuts, the low-cost loans, the $15 billion a year he promises for alternative energy, and more -- cost money, and the country could be facing a record $1 trillion deficit next year. Indeed, Obama recently acknowledged -- although not in his commercial -- that: "The next president will have to scale back his agenda and some of his proposals."

This was me last year...

Well Today is Thursday and it is almost over and that only means one thing tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!! (yeah) We are so Ready for the weekend I don't care what we do just for it to be the weekend!!!

But anyway...I have a BAT story to tell!!

Rodney and I have started back Walking and a the day before yesterday we walked our Circle through town and when we were walking by the pastures there was a BAT hanging on the fence there on the side of the road. We first thought it was dead and and we walked up to it and it turned its little head and I took off ;) that is all I needed to know everythign was just fine...

Well Yesterday we walked the same road and the same Bat was still there but this time it was throwing a little fit when we walked by. It was stuck!!! it had been stuck there for a full 24 hours and could have been much longer than that??? but Rodney got a stick and worked with the Bat and finally got him unstuck but man he was mad because I know it had to be hurting his little foot...but the wings on this thing was a good 10 inches wide! But when Rodney finally got him loose this bat took off and flew away so hopefully he now has a chance...otherwise he would have died right there...MY HUSBAND THE BAT SAVER!!!;)

Yesterday I went to the Revenue Office and got my Voters Registration Form - I am Registered, but It had me listed as my name before I was married and at the wrong address so I couldn't have voted if I tried...I don't even know if when I voted last year it counted ;) they didn't know heads or tails when I tried to explain it to them they just finally said we know you go vote...I tried really hard to stay awake and watch Odama speech last night but I fell asleep - PLEASE give me your view - did I miss anything????

I saw that McCain announced his VP choice - the part of the speech today from her was nice but I will have to do some reserch on her before I can give you my 2 cent on her ;)

Enough of that I get so wrapped up in it that is all I think about...

So I'll move on to something that is just as important (ha) Big Brother - How about it I can't believe that Ollie actually thought for one minute Dan was going to follow the agreement they had but I guess he was going to try it...but he will be in the house that get to chose the winner...I really hope that Jerry gets to the end. He has done alot better than I ever thought he would - YEAH Jerry!!

I am so HAPPY it is Friday - 3 day weekend - BUT Rodney is at home with a pulled muscle in his back...it happened yesterday loading something in the back of the truck - it is the same muscle that he pulled a year or two ago and the next day when he got out of bed I guess he blacked out and fell and busted his face on floor...not pretty!!! Hopefully it won't be that bad this time - he is doped up on muscle relaxers taking it easy - or at least he is suppose to be ;)

Ankle Update: I am doing great with my ankle - I still have a pretty little limp, but I have started walking around the block trying to get some muscle built back up in the leg...still got a scar but after it heals some more it won't be bad at all!

I wish I could say I have been on a 2 week vacation to the beach @ Florida or to Alaska or the Grande Canyon or anywhere really neat ;) BUT I have been...at home...

Yeah on June 7th it start as a great day trout fishing and ended with 5 hours in the ER with my ankle cut and I found out the I had cut my achilles tendon about 1/4 of the way through and I would need to have surgery...a week later I was able to get in for surgery and now yesterday was my 7 day after surgery check up and I was hoping to get the stiches out but the cuts weren't ready to let them go so I have to wait another 7 days...I have some pics but I'll have to wait to post them...they look gross to me...maybe that will be my wordless wednesday ;)

Anyway I just wanted to let everyone know that I hadn't ranaway from the blogging world I just have been in the groggy world of pain meds and laid back on the couch...

I have the choice to decide to go down in a big ball of fire or rise up and spread my wings. I have been under a bunch of stress at work and it has mainly been with the the office/house remodel that is going on. It makes it very hard just to do my job just like today I walk up to my office and the roof next to my office is completely gone! They are raising the roof ;)!! ANyway between that and the new dog and now the grandkids because it is summer break I just want to scream! But I have decided that I have a choice here...my life is the most important to me and yes I have a job and it is important but I need to be at my best to do the best job I can do!!! So I am going to quit downing the world and look on the bright side of all of this and know that there is an end to it all!

I went to the Doctor yesterday due to some numbing headaches etc. and they told me that it looks like Miagrains as soon as the appt was over they sent me to the hospital for an MRI just to be sure...they should call me today on that...I was kinda well not kinda I was worried about MS b/c there are family members that have it but he said from my last MRI that it wasn't MS but he would check again on this one just for certain...He put me on a medication for the Miagrains that I will be taking everyday and then I go back in 3 months to see if it helped.

I wake up this morning with a really bad sore throat so just what I need strep or an ulcer...bring it on!!!!

Wow weeee! I am back in town after a much needed weekend getaway with Rodney. After 2 full weeks and only seeing him 3 times it was so needed! So we went to Branson saw a show and shopped and ate way to much! Then went to Eureka where we stayed in the Basin Park for the first time (very neat) just like the Cresent...we both love it there and the storms moved through on Saturday night so it just made it for a better stay. We ate way way to much there but is was so worth it...I ate a Black and Blue Burger (Bacon & Blue Cheese) man it was great acutally had it twice it was soo good! Anyway we walked the streets and only found 2 things to buy but I was really excited...it was two bowls hand made pottery - they were for cleo and water and food bowl - just perfect...now he is high class no more mis-matched bowls for him ;)

Well yesterday I got an email about a hotel in Eureka that was having a weekend special and thought man I want to go...so I started to book it and rememberd that Rod was suppose to work on Saturday so the plans were blown :( BUT just 5 minutes later Rodney called me and said that the work on Saturday had been moved to Next Saturday SO we are going to Branson and Eureka this weekend - I am so ready just to be in a hotel and relax!!! O and of course SHOP!!!!!!

I need to get an oil change in my car...and get a hair cut, go to wal-mart, and pack all today so I can be ready to go as soon as I get off work tomorrow...The packing won't be to bad...I haven't unpacked yet!!!!

Okay well the trip was cut from 17 to 14 days so that is wonderful...I am so ready to go home! Seeing Rodney once a week is HARD!!!!I am ready to get back and see cleo I have only seen him once in the two weeks and my roses...I need to wrok with them...

The bad thing is that I come home and now Rodney has to work on Saturday, but hopefully it won't be an all day thing...I can get everything back to normal at the house. Which won't be too hard since Rodney has washed the dishes and cloths so that is GREAT I'm not dreading going back to a dirty house :)

Yes I said 15! They have decided to come back early...i'm not arguing ;)

It really isn't getting any worse with the dogs but I am just ready to be home where I belong. After the tornado all I have want is to be home. When something like that happens I think I should be there...I feel guilty for not being there but I know I can't but I still feel bad. I hope you know what I mean...it is hard to explain...anyway...

I went to church and washed my car yesterday...saw Rod, mom, and dad for a little bit then came back to work. It was so weird driving through the tornado damage...looks like a bomb went off.

Nothing else really happen this weekend so I am just praying for better weather and a really nice summer!!!

Day 10 of 17 - Tornado Hits!

Well lets just say Friday was an exciting day! I woke up got ready for work and turn the news on and notice that we had some storms coming our way. So I got the dogs ready and went for a walk around 7am. Then came up to my office for work. Well I didn't get much done until I started getting phone calls...and the tornado sirens started going off...so needless to say I got to the basement with 2 dogs and a cat. We stayed down there for probably an hour and then came out...it was so scary just being alone down there thinking what is going on out there...b/c I couldn't see a thing...about half way through being down there the power went off - o me I thought...so I started calling everyone because I knew it was going to be going through my home town then come here...I called Rod and he was trying to get ahold of his grandparents b/c he had heard a house not to far from them had been hit...then I get ahold of mom and she say it had passed over them at the school and they were okay...so I just wait, getting ready for it to hit...Thank goodness it never did, but is came within a 1/4 of a mile...people house are gone, animals gone, power poles all down...but thankfully no deaths here...I went back home yesterday around 2 just to see what happen there and it was bad too...3 deaths...I just can't believe that only 3 people lost their lives though - It looks awful!! Don't get me wrong 3 is terrible, but to drive through that is just takes your breath away and to know there were people in all of these places that are now in crumbles...

So needless to say it was a bad day and I am happy today is sunny and pretty! I also got a call from my boss saying he was coming home early and for me to change his flights...so that is what I am doing now - so if this all works out it may only be 15 days but we will see...

Well, Well, Well, Tuesday and Wednesday went by so fast! I had to make a couple of runs to town today for the vet and the $ store...I found some raw hide bones etc. for Alex...he is tearing everything up so hopefully this will help - he is such a PUPPY!!! Also I got some meds for the vet that is suppose to be like prozac for puppies so we will see if that calms him down...

Wednesday...O ME...I get up let Alex and Skip out then take a shower and getting ready and open the door for them to come in - no dogs arounds - so I give them another 15 minutes and go and skip is ready to come in and eat but there is no Alex...so i go out the back door and I see him out at the lake!!!! he jumped out of the fenced in yard...o no...all I can think is I am going to have to live with him getting out...so I run after him and finally get him...now needless to say everywhere possible for him to get out has plywood up ;)then when I got him in he got a pill from the vet - and it worked - he wasn't druged out just calm...GREAT...I actually got some work done today!

All I can say it I am ready to be home, I am ready for Dennis and Tina to be home!and I am ready to get paid for this and go to Florida!!!!!o yeah and the constuction to be DONE!!!

It isn't that bad but it is bad enough...I am just ready for everything to be back to normal!

Well these days have flown by pretty quickly!! As far as I know only one accident!! which is great considering there were 4-5 the first day...I am slowing getting Alex on a schedule. Anyway Saturday was nice I got up and was just lazy...only 2 block layers showed up for about an hour to finish up with their stuff, it was so nice to be here alone...Then around 6 my mom and dad came over and we went and ate BBQ mummm it was just what I needed!

Sunday I got up and went to church and then Rodney and I went out and ate together...then I came back read the ENTIRE newspaper (I enjoyed it - weird!!)

MONDAY I went to the Dentist for my final appt for my crown YEAH!!!!

It is just perfect fits great and I am happy! I am so glad that is over and I hope I don't have to go through that again any time soon...it made me go crazy!!!

Man, yesterday went pretty good! Darlene, Cleaning Lady, came and we got the house in perfect condition and smellin' good! We have everything washed and I have a nice clean bed to sleep in!!! (I made the bed and shut the door so nothing can get in there YEAH!!!!!!) that means a nice clean bed for tonight too!

The walk yesterday went great! man it is nice when everything runs smoothly!

I believe I will make it through these 17 days and still smile when I leave!!!!

O I still have a whole were I should have a tooth - but I'm rock it!!!! The Temp Tooth is shot - it hurts to just have it in there so I will be toothless until Monday ;)

Yeah I'm not to happy right at the moment but it will get better! I started house-sitting yesterday for 17 days while my boss in taking a trip to Europe/Paris. I usually stay about a week while they go to Florida etc., but this is a biggy...I will try to post each day to let you know what happens b/c there is always something going on here.

Yesterday, I walked the dogs it was so nice the weather and the dogs(WOW)! I eat a ham sandwich and some chips then I get on the elliptical and do some weights...man i feelin good! THEN I eat ICE CREAM...lets just say that ruined the night...I eat a whole dang bowl of the good stuff...then watch big brother - YEAH - I hope Adam wins!! Then I go upstaires to go to bed...WRONG!!

I get in the bed and something smells funny!!! yeah PEE...I think the dog had the cat trapped up there and it had to go somewhere so it picks the dang bed!!! needless to say I slept on the couch...and I'm just thankful I had brought my own pillow!!!!!

Now it is raining so I am just hoping that the dogs can hold it until it slacks up so they can go out!!!

O and another thing - My tooth fell out again...at least it doesn't hurt so I'll just keep using the vasaline and hope my real fake tooth hurrys and gets here ;)

I should probably drink more WATER!!!!

Jack wakes up with a huge hangover after attending his company's Christmas Party. Jack is not normally a drinker, but the drinks didn't taste like alcohol at all. He didn't even remember how he got home from the party.

As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he did something wrong. Jack had to force himself to open his eyes, and the firstthing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass ofwater on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose! Jack sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed. He looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror. I just want to thank all of you for your educational e-mails over the past year.

Thanks to you, I no longer open a public bathroom door without using a paper towel.

I can't use the remote in a hotel room because I don't know what the last person was doing while flipping through the adult movie channels.

I can't sit down on the hotel bedspread because I can only imagine what has happened on it since it was last washed.

I have trouble shaking hands with someone who has been driving because the number one pass-time while driving alone is picking your nose. (Although cell phone usage may be taking the number one spot)

Eating a Little Debbie sends me on a guilt trip because I can only imagine how many gallons of Trans fats I have consumed over the years.

I can't touch any woman's purse for fear she has placed it on the floor of a public bathroom. Yuck!

I must send my special thanks to whoever sent me the one about poop in the glue on envelopes because I now have to use a wet sponge with every envelope that needs sealing.

Also, now I have to scrub the top of every can I open for the same reason.

I no longer have any savings because I gave it to a sick girl (Penny Brown) who is about to die in the hospital for the 1,387,258th time.

I no longer have any money at all, but that will change once I receive the $15,000 that Bill Gates/Microsoft and AOL are sending me for participating in their special e-mail program.

I no longer worry about my soul because I have 363,214 angels looking out for me, and St. Theresa's novena has granted my every wish.

I no longer eat KFC because their chickens are actually horrible mutant freaks with no eyes or feathers.
