Well today was one of those days when I ask myself are you okay? It is the feeling of not knowing are you sad or happy or kinda in the middle? I feel that the water running over my feet is getting on my pants and I hate that...I have the feeling that the sun feels really nice on my skin, but then I think I am burning...It is the thought of I just washed my car...so I sure a rain shower will pop up! One of those o so great Wednesdays I guess.
I think today would be a good day for someone to come up to me and ask, "How are you doing?" I think I would just tell them to pull up a chair...or maybe just run the other way :) I don't know what would be best...well I do for them RUN!
It isn't that my life it terrible - I am blessed in so many ways maybe I just need to list some...
I Love God
I am married to someone who loves me and I share the same feelings for him.
My mom and dad are great - wouldn't trade them for ANYONE!
I have a GREAT family - I know that I can count on them...
I may not have any brother or sisters but I have aunts uncles and cousins! you know who you are!!!
I have a cat named Cleo and a pig named Guine - that are very sweet-can't put a $ on them.
My heart is still beating.
I have my 5 senses.
I have a nice house to live in that Rodney and I own
I have a car to drive...it's not paid for but I can make the payments
I have the $ to buy flowers and enjoy my flower beds...
I have a job
Rodney has a job
Neither of us are careless with money - that is a great thing - no fusses
We have food to eat
We have too many cloths
I have a bed to sleep in
This list could go on, but I don't want to bore the few people who actually read this...Althought this might be something good for other to do write down what is good in their life - It makes you quit feeling sorry for yourself - well it did me...I think maybe I am just ready to be home in my own home...I am house sitting this week so I have been pretty much by myself the last couple of day...Rodney will have a basketcase coming home to him tomorrow :)

"This will improve your life" Well that is what the other blogger said?
Questions #1
What is the strangest thing you carry in your wallet or purse?
I will go ahead and answer this...
For me it is a dollar bill with a pink bandade wrapped around it...I bet you are asking why? Well probably 6 years ago (maybe longer, I'm not good with dates) my papaw was put in the hospital with some problems with his heart...and some how he ended up with this dollar taped to his bed rail with this lovely pink bandade...and well he gave it to me when he got out and I have kept it with me ever since and I have no intentions of taking it out :)

Movie on Lifetime
I watched a good movie last night on Lifetime...I am not big on setting down and staying there for an entire movie but this one had me...I can't remember the name of it though??? (sounds about right) Anyway it was about a girl that found love and then the man was taken away by fire...then she met someone else and she fell in love with him...then he was taken away by a bomb and was burned pretty bad...Then the 3rd guys well you just need to watch the movie...
It just made me think about everything and that there are people in our lives that we don't even relize are there. In this movie it was someone from her past that was doing everything he could so she wasn't happy...
Of course, I watched this movie and then dreamed about it, so needless to say I was chased all night :)

2am - blah blah
Well here I am awake at 2 in the morning...if you know me this isn't normal!! I was sick yesterday and stayed on the couch...well I did get up and go to church thinking I might get to feeling better and I didn't...so I came back home and laid down...I took some sinus medicine and now I can't sleep!!! So this is a great time to update me blog :)
On Thursday of last week ETHAL, a dog that is in the office were I work, had to be put down...very sad day She had heart failure and just wasn't doing good at all. So now there is only one dog, Skipper, and one cat, tabby, at work...Not over a year ago TOSHA had to be put down...she had cancer and was really in bad shape (she was a rotweiler) Anyway...
On Saturday the 12th there was another benefit for my cousin, STACEY who has cancer...It was a busy day, there was a huge yard sale, and bake sale, silent auction, and bingo - lots of music and food!!! It went over very well and made a bunch of money for the family!! Please keep this family in your prayers every night!
Having something like this happen to a close family member is really a eye opener...It just shows what you hear everyday you don't know what tomorrow will bring and you can count on having another day. It makes you realize how blessed you really are and your problems that you moan and carry on about really doesn't matter!! Now I relize that when I say, "It can wait til tomorrow" I have a second thougt about if it really can...

Pretty Good I'd Say...
THE BEST COMEBACK LINE EVER!
Marine Corps General Reinwald was interviewed on the Radio the other day and you'll love his reply to the lady who Interviewed him concerning guns and children. Regardless of how you feel about gun laws you gotta love this!!!! This is one of the best comeback lines of all time. It is a portion of a National Public Radio (NPR) interview, which is a nationally funded, Between a female broadcaster and US Marine Corps General Reinwald who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting His military installation.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Reinwald, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base?
GENERAL REINWALD: We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery, and shooting.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it?
GENERAL REINWALD: I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the rifle range.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?
GENERAL REINWALD: I don't see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: But you're equipping them to become violent killers.
GENERAL REINWALD: Well, ma'am, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you?
The radio went silent and the interview ended. You gotta love the Marines! AMERICA , THE HOME OF THE FREE BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE!!!

Letter from God...
As you got up this morning, I watched you, and hoped you would talk to me, even if it was just a few words, asking my opinion or thanking me for something good that happened in your life yesterday.
But I noticed you were too busy, trying to find the right outfit to wear.
When you ran around the house getting ready, I knew there would be a few minutes for you to stop and say hello, but you were to busy.
At one point you had to wait fifteen minutes with nothing to do except sit in a chair. Then I saw you spring to your feet. I thought you wanted to talk to me but you ran to the phone and called a friend to get the latest gossip instead. I watched patiently all day long. With all our activities I guess you were too busy to say anything to me.
I noticed that before lunch you looked around, maybe you felt embarrassed to talk to me,that is why you didn't bow your head.
You glanced three or four tables over and you noticed some of your friends talking to me briefly before they ate, but you didn't. That's okay.
There is still more time left, and I hope that you will talk to me yet.
You went home and it seems as if you had lots of things to do. After a few of them were done, you turned on the TV. I don't know if you like TV or not, just about anything goes there and you spend a lot of time each day in front of it not thinking about anything, just enjoying the show.
I waited patiently again as you watched the TV and ate your meal, but again you didn't talk to me.
Bedtime I guess you felt too tired. After you said goodnight to your family you plopped into bed and fell asleep in no time. That's okay because you may not realize that I am always there for you.. I've got patience, more than you will ever know.... I even want to teach you how to be patient with others as well.
I love you so much that I wait everyday for a nod, prayer or thought, or a thankful part of your heart. It is hard to have a one-sided conversation.
Well, you are getting up once again. Once again I will wait, with nothing but love for you. Hoping that today you will give me some time.
Have a nice day!
Your friend,
GOD

Sassafras (Sassy)
I want everyone to take a look at this cat in the picture to the left...This cat is a cat that is very close to my heart and has pretty much always been there with me. I was thinking you have those childhood pets that grow up with you and this cat was there for me through all of my highschool days, dating days, all the friends and family cookouts...meeting Rod for the 1st time - btw this cat loved Rod from the 1st time he came in the house...and Sassy is not the social cat around new people - she just knew he was going to be around for a while. She was there with me when there were deaths in the family and you know I could talk to her and she never argued or nothing she would just look at me with her eyes that said, "It will be alright Don't worry so much!" and last night I was looking through my pics of like Christmas etc. and she was in almost everyone of them...I know that she is aging and she has had a great life but I still just want to know that she will always be there...I guess she will, she will just be in my heart forever...
Piglet

Well, lets talk pigs...When I got married 4 years ago all I talked about was how I wanted a guinne pig and for our anniversary that is what Rod got me...and now after 3 years he is as fat as ever and spoiled rotten...you can walk by his cage without him saying he wants a carrot...and of course we get him one. Rod will feed him then when I walk by he acts like he never was feed so he gets fed twice. I think he trys to see how many times we will feed him...We Love Him!
