Mtn Climb!

Well I did something Sunday that I can't believe I did!!!

Rodney and I stayed at the Heber house all weekend and on our way home Sunday we thought we would stop and stroll up the mountain...well we had done that a couple of time and we just get to were the Rocks start and I was always saying, I don't think we need to go any further..." Well Sunday I guess I was feeling a little adventurous!!! And there was two older men with their two grandkids that were like 6 and 8 (Yeah so in my head I was saying if they can do this I can...) So I put my fears of getting stuck between these rocks and having to have a helicopter come and get me out...or falling and hitting my head and busting it open and having to be carried down...or worst Rodney getting hurt and me having to take control the situation - yeah right they would end up throwing me off the cliff...behind me and TOOK a go at the climb!

I will not say that it was easy - in fact yesterday I was sore! but WE got up there and it so PRETTY...I have some pics...It was worth the climb.

We stayed up there for a while just enjoying the view and the breeze...so nice

THEN we had to come DOWN...Rod and I make a good team b/c we helped each other figure out how to get down without just taking a leap...

I never thought I would do it and I did and I want to do it again!!!!!!!!

July is National Hot Dog Month!

Well...

Okay I am in Wal-mart returning a baby gift I had bought (found something else much better) and I have a bag full of film that I am going to have developed...as I stand there and wait for the cashier to do the return she turns to me and says, WELL WHEN IS THE BABY DUE! I turn around makesure she really is talking to me...have this really blank look on my face and say, "WHAT?" I rub my belly and say, "I'm not pregant? Do I look pregant????" then the girl plays it off as that returning the dipers and all the film...which at the time I laugh off BUT Why would you ask if you were expecting with RETURNING Dipers and a bunch of film that would mean that you already had the BABY!!!!!right??? Come on,now I am worried!!!! I have been 135lbs for the last 5 years...I have only gained for a very short time up to 140 and then I guickly returned to 135...I think today I will start to watch what I eat b/c I actually am overweight if you go by what the ideal weight is for me at the dr. office and hope for no more comments like this! I am glad I am starting today b/c last night I was at the twins b-day and ate way to much CAKE!!!! I am happy with myself, but yeah I wouldn't mind being at least 10 lbs lighter...can't hurt anything...Also I have the new bike and a perfect sidewalk...what is my excuse?????

Fishing Trip...

Well we went fishing Sunday afternoon...and I didn't catch anything like in this picture:) I was ready to go home and actually I had already gotten into the truck turned the a/c on and was saying, "COME ON" When I heard, "Get off your lazy butt and get down here...I have something to show you" That is the biggest bass I have seen in a while! We threw him back so maybe next time he will be HUGE and I will get him!!!!!

The phone rings you answer, "Hi! this is Jenny. O hi Jennifer how are you... "I am fine but it is just Jenny..." O sorry about that, ,but anyway I have a question about, whatever, JENNIFER

UUURRRRR - I am been Jenny my entire life NOT JENNIFER...I don't understand what people get by trying to call you the correct name not a nickname...and in my case it is my name....

Anyway just gripping my heart out!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I feel better and can get back to WORK!!!!!!!!!!

T.G.I.F.

Well here we are again...Finally Friday! Even with a Holiday in the the middle of the week I am still Thankful it is Friday...

I think it is just knowing that you don't have to get up and get ready to do anything. I am usually up but I move from the bed to the couch and watch tv...which I don't usually do alot of during the week. And also that is when Rod and I spend our time together...during the week we see each other but not really enjoy each other just kinda in the same house I guess you could say...anyway it works

O let me tell you what we are doing now...btw we didn't buy any fireworks this 4th which is crazy for us b/c Rodney has always spent too much money and then was sick b/c it was up in flames so quickly, but this year NOTHING...and I didn't care we went and watched them and that was fun...now getting back to what I started Rodney went and got up bikes to start riding...Yeah I am excited UNTIL I tried to ride...Let's see it has probly been 10 years or more since I have rode and I haven't done any kind of excercise in atleast the last year so it was an experience...Where we live there is a little side road and I take off well the has like 20 or more gears and I never have really used them so that was a small problem...I get to the end of the road and think okay I got to get back HOME...so YEAH I have to get off and push up the hills...Thank goodness there is only one...I did make it home but I died when I walked in...And Rodney Mr. Muscle and I can do anything the very first time perfectly! was like what is wrong with you I though you were just going the short side road...I just smiled and walked away...

Anyway I am going on and on...last night I did the same short ride and didn't have to walk up the hill!!!!YEAH I call that process :)

Getaway!

Rod and I got some much need time away last weekend...we left Friday night and went to Springfield, MO stayed the night then got up and went to the BassPro Shop...It is huge! I remember going when I was little...but now there is alot more stuff. there is also more animals and kinda like a walk through wildlife exhibit there...We left there about 2pm and was on the way to Eureka Springs...We stayed at the Crescent Hotel (the ghost must have been on vacation) where we had our hour Massages (aaahhhhhhhh) We stayed in a Balcony Room and the view was so nice...We always eat at the Balcony Restaurant in the Basin Park Hotel, can't beat it...plus you eat out on the balcony so you can people watch :) Anyway we went around to the shops and walked to all the springs and walked through the gardens...go to www.myspace.com/jenrod for pictures - it was so relaxing. We made to home Sunday afternoon and we crashed...well caught up on all the laundry you have when you get back...I hate that part!
