Change my Mind...

I have the choice to decide to go down in a big ball of fire or rise up and spread my wings. I have been under a bunch of stress at work and it has mainly been with the the office/house remodel that is going on. It makes it very hard just to do my job just like today I walk up to my office and the roof next to my office is completely gone! They are raising the roof ;)!! ANyway between that and the new dog and now the grandkids because it is summer break I just want to scream! But I have decided that I have a choice here...my life is the most important to me and yes I have a job and it is important but I need to be at my best to do the best job I can do!!! So I am going to quit downing the world and look on the bright side of all of this and know that there is an end to it all!

I went to the Doctor yesterday due to some numbing headaches etc. and they told me that it looks like Miagrains as soon as the appt was over they sent me to the hospital for an MRI just to be sure...they should call me today on that...I was kinda well not kinda I was worried about MS b/c there are family members that have it but he said from my last MRI that it wasn't MS but he would check again on this one just for certain...He put me on a medication for the Miagrains that I will be taking everyday and then I go back in 3 months to see if it helped.

I wake up this morning with a really bad sore throat so just what I need strep or an ulcer...bring it on!!!!

MY NEW HAIRCUT!!!

I'm back!

Wow weeee! I am back in town after a much needed weekend getaway with Rodney. After 2 full weeks and only seeing him 3 times it was so needed! So we went to Branson saw a show and shopped and ate way to much! Then went to Eureka where we stayed in the Basin Park for the first time (very neat) just like the Cresent...we both love it there and the storms moved through on Saturday night so it just made it for a better stay. We ate way way to much there but is was so worth it...I ate a Black and Blue Burger (Bacon & Blue Cheese) man it was great acutally had it twice it was soo good! Anyway we walked the streets and only found 2 things to buy but I was really excited...it was two bowls hand made pottery - they were for cleo and water and food bowl - just perfect...now he is high class no more mis-matched bowls for him ;)

Well yesterday I got an email about a hotel in Eureka that was having a weekend special and thought man I want to go...so I started to book it and rememberd that Rod was suppose to work on Saturday so the plans were blown :( BUT just 5 minutes later Rodney called me and said that the work on Saturday had been moved to Next Saturday SO we are going to Branson and Eureka this weekend - I am so ready just to be in a hotel and relax!!! O and of course SHOP!!!!!!

I need to get an oil change in my car...and get a hair cut, go to wal-mart, and pack all today so I can be ready to go as soon as I get off work tomorrow...The packing won't be to bad...I haven't unpacked yet!!!!

Day 13 and 14 of 14 - YAHOO!

Okay well the trip was cut from 17 to 14 days so that is wonderful...I am so ready to go home! Seeing Rodney once a week is HARD!!!!I am ready to get back and see cleo I have only seen him once in the two weeks and my roses...I need to wrok with them...

The bad thing is that I come home and now Rodney has to work on Saturday, but hopefully it won't be an all day thing...I can get everything back to normal at the house. Which won't be too hard since Rodney has washed the dishes and cloths so that is GREAT I'm not dreading going back to a dirty house :)

Days 11 & 12 of 15

Yes I said 15! They have decided to come back early...i'm not arguing ;)

It really isn't getting any worse with the dogs but I am just ready to be home where I belong. After the tornado all I have want is to be home. When something like that happens I think I should be there...I feel guilty for not being there but I know I can't but I still feel bad. I hope you know what I mean...it is hard to explain...anyway...

I went to church and washed my car yesterday...saw Rod, mom, and dad for a little bit then came back to work. It was so weird driving through the tornado damage...looks like a bomb went off.

Nothing else really happen this weekend so I am just praying for better weather and a really nice summer!!!

Day 10 of 17 - Tornado Hits!

Well lets just say Friday was an exciting day! I woke up got ready for work and turn the news on and notice that we had some storms coming our way. So I got the dogs ready and went for a walk around 7am. Then came up to my office for work. Well I didn't get much done until I started getting phone calls...and the tornado sirens started going off...so needless to say I got to the basement with 2 dogs and a cat. We stayed down there for probably an hour and then came out...it was so scary just being alone down there thinking what is going on out there...b/c I couldn't see a thing...about half way through being down there the power went off - o me I thought...so I started calling everyone because I knew it was going to be going through my home town then come here...I called Rod and he was trying to get ahold of his grandparents b/c he had heard a house not to far from them had been hit...then I get ahold of mom and she say it had passed over them at the school and they were okay...so I just wait, getting ready for it to hit...Thank goodness it never did, but is came within a 1/4 of a mile...people house are gone, animals gone, power poles all down...but thankfully no deaths here...I went back home yesterday around 2 just to see what happen there and it was bad too...3 deaths...I just can't believe that only 3 people lost their lives though - It looks awful!! Don't get me wrong 3 is terrible, but to drive through that is just takes your breath away and to know there were people in all of these places that are now in crumbles...

So needless to say it was a bad day and I am happy today is sunny and pretty! I also got a call from my boss saying he was coming home early and for me to change his flights...so that is what I am doing now - so if this all works out it may only be 15 days but we will see...
